pagud pud

the most memorable part of my recent vacation was Pagudpud.
we only reached Saud beach which is nearer to town than the Blue Lagoon (which I heard is better).

just the same, its still enjoyable. the beach is never crowded and the general mood is rustic and laidback, with plenty of nearby areas for sightseeing and photoshoots (the Bangui windmills, the Cape Bojeador lighthouse, the various waterfalls).
and there is no nightlife! so as the sun sets, you can just sit back, drink your beer and doze yourself to heaven, especially after travelling that far (more than 12 hours from Manila).
with this guy around (jejejeje), you'd surely enjoy sightseeing.

the only drawback (aside from the getting there blues) is: you won't find any food or refreshments after the restaurants close at 8PM! so if you go there, make sure to stack up on beer, snacks, and food.
finally, pagudpud is best enjoyed for a few lazy days. but if you go there just to stay for a day and a night (tulad ng ginawa namin), good luck na lang.
pagud lang pud! as in...
PS. if you wish to visit, please get in touch with Ronald. an able guide, he can take you to the cheapest but not less comfy accomodations. the town has imposed a flat rate of PhP 600 on guided tours courtesy of the tricycle drivers. in any case, here's his photo and phone number ~ 09216769525.

the Cape Bojeador lighthouse; presumably one of the oldest in the country.
